Fresh trax!
I just got this mix of a session I did last summer. The song is 'Undone' by the Getaway Drivers and I am very happy to have been asked to participate. What a great song and singer in Sheila Shigley.

Combo Audio D.I.Y.
Now for your consumption...Download It Yourself
"Pleased to announce that after nearly 25 years - Combo Audio - the band, their legacy and all their music are now available at: www.comboaudio.com
Literally, "years in the making" has gone into the project of assembling all the music, video and photos together for the re-emergence of Combo Audio's music and legacy. Now all in one place, Combo Audio's body of work can now be easily be heard and purchased as hi quality MP3 download albums and CD's directly from the site.
Combo Audio were prolific writers and performers, constantly performing, playing shows with U2, Talking Heads, The Tubes, Billy Idol, INXS, The Suburbs, and other 80's icons of the day.
The newly updated Combo Audio website now contains hundreds of photos, videos, and some 84 tracks spanning 9 albums that are available for listening and viewing online - and for the first time, all the recorded music and 4 complete live shows are available to listen to and purchase. Some of the live shows - as early as 1980 - include performances with former members Tom Broeske (bass) and Rocky Maffit (percussion) and latter day members through 1988 when the band eventually faded. The vast majority of this material has never been released and some has never been heard before.
All the recordings were digitized and edited from original tapes and re-mastered by award winning mastering engineer Steve Hall of Future Disc Systems - under the supervision of John Kellogg.
It's exciting for the band to finally get this music out there. It needs to available and heard. Many thanks to all those who have had much patience after requesting this music and endured the long wait to get it assembled and up on the site. Much obliged for all the interest and e mails." Distant relations
So you're saying to yourself , "Is that who I think it is?"
Yup. It really is my nephew Mark. The old guy on the left just happened by.
Schroeder + me

Jorge Schroeder, proprietor of Schroeder Superior Sound of Los Angeles, CA., has graciously asked if I would endorse his excellent bass cabinets. I've been using a 1212L model and it just astounds me with it's performance, light weight and small size. He is custom building me a new 1215L which should arrive in a few weeks. Very cool. It will have built in GPS system in case I get lost in the middle of a song. And cupholders, don't forget cupholders.
